Title: Materials Data on Ir by Materials Project

Abstract

Ir crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pmma space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ir ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ir is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ir atoms. Both Ir–Ir bond lengths are 2.28 Å.
