Materials Data on MnSi2Tc by Materials Project
Abstract
TcMnSi2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two TcMnSi2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Tc3- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Si atoms. Both Tc–Si bond lengths are 2.35 Å. Mn3+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Si atoms. Both Mn–Si bond lengths are 2.37 Å. Si is bonded in a linear geometry to one Tc3- and one Mn3+ atom.
