Title: Materials Data on Tb2GaCo2 by Materials Project

Abstract

Tb2Co2Ga crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Co and four equivalent Ga atoms. All Tb–Co bond lengths are 2.91 Å. There are two shorter (3.19 Å) and two longer (3.24 Å) Tb–Ga bond lengths. Co is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Tb, one Co, and two equivalent Ga atoms. The Co–Co bond length is 2.33 Å. Both Co–Ga bond lengths are 2.56 Å. Ga is bonded to eight equivalent Tb and four equivalent Co atoms to form a mixture of edge and face-sharing GaTb8Co4 cuboctahedra.
