Abstract
PmS is Halite, Rock Salt structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pm is bonded to six equivalent S atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing PmS6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°. All Pm–S bond lengths are 2.85 Å. S is bonded to six equivalent Pm atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing SPm6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°.
