Title: Materials Data on Nb2GeSb2 by Materials Project

Abstract

(Nb(Sb))2Ge crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of one germanium molecule and one Nb(Sb) sheet oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. In the Nb(Sb) sheet, Nb2+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Sb3- atom. The Nb–Sb bond length is 2.91 Å. Sb3- is bonded to one Nb2+ and five equivalent Sb3- atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge and corner-sharing SbNbSb5 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°. There are four shorter (2.90 Å) and one longer (3.34 Å) Sb–Sb bond lengths.
