Title: Materials Data on SrYPt2 by Materials Project

Abstract

SrYPt2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two SrYPt2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sr is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt atoms. Both Sr–Pt bond lengths are 2.93 Å. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt atoms. Both Y–Pt bond lengths are 2.49 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sr and one Y atom.
