Abstract

U2NCl2 crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of one U2NCl2 cluster. U is bonded in a linear geometry to one N and one Cl atom. The U–N bond length is 1.99 Å. The U–Cl bond length is 2.47 Å. N is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent U atoms. Cl is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one U atom.

YCo2B2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Y3+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent B3- atoms.
