Title: Materials Data on LaV2O2 by Materials Project

Abstract

LaV2O2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4_1/amd space group. The structure is three-dimensional. La is bonded in a distorted hexagonal planar geometry to six equivalent O atoms. There are two shorter (2.54 Å) and four longer (2.60 Å) La–O bond lengths. V is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O atom. The V–O bond length is 1.84 Å. O is bonded to three equivalent La and one V atom to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing OLa3V tetrahedra.
