Abstract
Si5(CH3)9(Si(CH3)2)5 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2 space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of four [(dimethyl-$$l^{3}-silanyl)-bis(trimethylsilyl)silyl]-dimethylsilicon molecules and four [bis(dimethyl-$$l^{3}-silanyl)-trimethylsilylsilyl]-dimethylsilicon molecules.
