Title: Materials Data on CeNiPt by Materials Project

Abstract

CePtNi crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pt and six equivalent Ni atoms. There are a spread of Ce–Pt bond distances ranging from 3.02–3.31 Å. There are a spread of Ce–Ni bond distances ranging from 2.91–3.23 Å. Pt is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ce and four equivalent Ni atoms. There are a spread of Pt–Ni bond distances ranging from 2.54–2.85 Å. Ni is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ce and four equivalent Pt atoms.
