Abstract
Li6V3Mn(PO4)6 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are four inequivalent Li1+ sites. In the first Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight O2- atoms. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 2.27–2.52 Å. In the second Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight O2- atoms. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 2.30–2.48 Å. In the third Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight O2- atoms. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 2.32–2.49 Å. In the fourth Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight O2- atoms. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 2.29–2.49 Å. There are three inequivalent V+3.33+ sites. In the first V+3.33+ site, V+3.33+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form VO6 octahedra that share corners with six PO4 tetrahedra.
