Title: Materials Data on B by Materials Project

Abstract

B crystallizes in the hexagonal P6/mmm space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of one B sheet oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. B is bonded in a hexagonal planar geometry to six equivalent B atoms. All B–B bond lengths are 1.71 Å.
