Title: Materials Data on LiMnP2 by Materials Project

Abstract

LiMnP2 crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of one LiMnP2 ribbon oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Li1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent P+1.50- atoms. Both Li–P bond lengths are 2.36 Å. Mn2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent P+1.50- atoms. Both Mn–P bond lengths are 2.29 Å. P+1.50- is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to one Li1+ and one Mn2+ atom.
