Title: Materials Data on ZrU by Materials Project

Abstract

UZr is Protactinium-derived structured and crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent U and four equivalent Zr atoms. There are four shorter (3.02 Å) and two longer (3.04 Å) U–U bond lengths. All U–Zr bond lengths are 3.14 Å. Zr is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to four equivalent U and six equivalent Zr atoms. There are four shorter (3.02 Å) and two longer (3.04 Å) Zr–Zr bond lengths.
