Title: Materials Data on Mg2NiPt by Materials Project

Abstract

Mg2PtNi crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Mg2PtNi ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pt and one Ni atom. The Mg–Pt bond length is 2.40 Å. The Mg–Ni bond length is 2.42 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Ni is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms.
