Title: Materials Data on HoO3 by Materials Project

Abstract

HoO3 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ho is bonded to twelve equivalent O atoms to form a mixture of distorted face and corner-sharing HoO12 cuboctahedra. There are six shorter (2.33 Å) and six longer (2.63 Å) Ho–O bond lengths. O is bonded in a distorted see-saw-like geometry to four equivalent Ho atoms.
