Materials Data on NdZnSn by Materials Project
Abstract
NdZnSn crystallizes in the trigonal P-3m1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nd is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Zn and six equivalent Sn atoms. There are three shorter (3.27 Å) and three longer (3.32 Å) Nd–Zn bond lengths. There are three shorter (3.30 Å) and three longer (3.57 Å) Nd–Sn bond lengths. Zn is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Nd and three equivalent Zn atoms. All Zn–Zn bond lengths are 2.81 Å. Sn is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Nd and three equivalent Sn atoms. All Sn–Sn bond lengths are 2.84 Å.
