Materials Data on HfMgCo2 by Materials Project
Abstract
MgHfCo2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two MgHfCo2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co atoms. Both Mg–Co bond lengths are 2.63 Å. Hf is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co atoms. Both Hf–Co bond lengths are 2.11 Å. Co is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mg and one Hf atom.
