Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) 3-Dimensional (3-D) Global Tracer Transport Model (DB1006)
Abstract
This directory contains the input files used in simulations of atmospheric CO2 using the GISS 3-D global tracer transport model. The directory contains 16 files including a help file (CO2FUNG.HLP), 12 files containing monthly exchanges with vegetation and soils (CO2VEG.JAN - DEC), 1 file containing releases of CO2 from fossil fuel burning (CO2FOS.MRL), 1 file containing releases of CO2 from land transformations (CO2DEF.HOU), and 1 file containing the patterns of CO2 exchange with the oceans (CO2OCN.TAK).For access to the data files, click this link to the CDIAC data transition website: http://cdiac.ess-dive.lbl.gov/ndps/db1006.htmlThis dataset was transferred from the CDIAC Archive and published on ESS-DIVE in 2018 under the project title "Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center (CDIAC), Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), Oak Ridge, TN (USA) Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), NASA". In 2023, the project title was updated to "Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center (CDIAC); Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), Oak Ridge, TN (United States)" to enable consistent management of all datasets previously hosted by the CDIAC Archive that are now published on ESS-DIVE.
