Title: Materials Data on SmPt by Materials Project

Abstract

SmPt crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sm2+ is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to seven equivalent Pt2- atoms. There are a spread of Sm–Pt bond distances ranging from 2.92–3.09 Å. Pt2- is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to seven equivalent Sm2+ atoms.
