Materials Data on Na8PO3 by Materials Project
Abstract
Na8PO3 crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na1+ is bonded to one P2- and three equivalent O2- atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge and corner-sharing NaPO3 tetrahedra. The Na–P bond length is 2.71 Å. All Na–O bond lengths are 2.53 Å. P2- is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Na1+ atoms. O2- is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Na1+ atoms.
