Title: Materials Data on HfPt3 by Materials Project

Abstract

HfPt3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Hf is bonded to twelve equivalent Pt atoms to form a mixture of face and corner-sharing HfPt12 cuboctahedra. All Hf–Pt bond lengths are 2.85 Å. Pt is bonded in a distorted square co-planar geometry to four equivalent Hf atoms.
