Title: Materials Data on Ni by Materials Project

Abstract

Ni crystallizes in the triclinic P-1 space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of one Ni sheet oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Ni is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to nine equivalent Ni atoms. There are a spread of Ni–Ni bond distances ranging from 2.42–2.46 Å.
