Materials Data on Se by Materials Project
Abstract
Se crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmcm space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of two Se sheets oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Se is bonded in a see-saw-like geometry to four equivalent Se atoms. There are two shorter (2.54 Å) and two longer (2.82 Å) Se–Se bond lengths.
