Materials Data on Hf2Tl by Materials Project
Abstract
Hf2Tl crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of two Hf2Tl sheets oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Hf is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tl atoms. All Hf–Tl bond lengths are 3.09 Å. Tl is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Hf atoms.
