Title: Materials Data on Ca3Tl by Materials Project

Abstract

Ca3Tl is beta Cu3Ti-like structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ca is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tl atoms. There are two shorter (3.49 Å) and two longer (3.69 Å) Ca–Tl bond lengths. Tl is bonded to twelve equivalent Ca atoms to form a mixture of corner and face-sharing TlCa12 cuboctahedra.
