Title: Materials Data on SiGe by Materials Project

Abstract

SiGe is Wurtzite structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3mc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ge4+ is bonded to four equivalent Si4- atoms to form corner-sharing GeSi4 tetrahedra. There are three shorter (2.42 Å) and one longer (2.44 Å) Ge–Si bond lengths. Si4- is bonded to four equivalent Ge4+ atoms to form corner-sharing SiGe4 tetrahedra.
