Materials Data on Ge3Sb by Materials Project
Abstract
Ge3Sb is alpha bismuth trifluoride structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Ge and four equivalent Sb atoms. All Ge–Ge bond lengths are 3.04 Å. All Ge–Sb bond lengths are 3.04 Å. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Ge atoms. Sb is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Ge atoms.
