Title: Materials Data on Tl3Bi by Materials Project

Abstract

Tl3Bi crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Tl3Bi ribbons oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Tl is bonded in a distorted water-like geometry to two equivalent Bi atoms. Both Tl–Bi bond lengths are 3.42 Å. Bi is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Tl atoms.
