Title: Materials Data on Hg3Pd by Materials Project

Abstract

PdHg3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pd is bonded to twelve equivalent Hg atoms to form PdHg12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent PdHg12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent HgHg8Pd4 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent PdHg12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent HgHg8Pd4 cuboctahedra. All Pd–Hg bond lengths are 3.09 Å. Hg is bonded to four equivalent Pd and eight equivalent Hg atoms to form HgHg8Pd4 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent HgHg8Pd4 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent PdHg12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent HgHg8Pd4 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent PdHg12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent HgHg8Pd4 cuboctahedra. All Hg–Hg bond lengths are 3.09 Å.
