Title: Materials Data on MnBe3 by Materials Project

Abstract

Be3Mn is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Be is bonded to eight equivalent Be and four equivalent Mn atoms to form BeMn4Be8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent BeMn4Be8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent MnBe12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent BeMn4Be8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent MnBe12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent BeMn4Be8 cuboctahedra. All Be–Be bond lengths are 2.30 Å. All Be–Mn bond lengths are 2.30 Å. Mn is bonded to twelve equivalent Be atoms to form MnBe12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent MnBe12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent BeMn4Be8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent MnBe12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent BeMn4Be8 cuboctahedra.
