Title: Materials Data on RbTe by Materials Project

Abstract

RbTe crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pbam space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Rb1+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Te1- atoms. There are a spread of Rb–Te bond distances ranging from 3.73–4.07 Å. Te1- is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Rb1+ and one Te1- atom. The Te–Te bond length is 2.86 Å.
