Materials Data on H9PbC3I by Materials Project
Abstract
PbC3H9I crystallizes in the orthorhombic P2_12_12_1 space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two PbC3H9I ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Pb2+ is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to three C+3.33- and two equivalent I1- atoms. There are two shorter (2.26 Å) and one longer (2.27 Å) Pb–C bond lengths. There are one shorter (3.10 Å) and one longer (3.44 Å) Pb–I bond lengths. There are three inequivalent C+3.33- sites. In the first C+3.33- site, C+3.33- is bonded in a trigonal non-coplanar geometry to one Pb2+ and three H1+ atoms. There is one shorter (1.09 Å) and two longer (1.10 Å) C–H bond length. In the second C+3.33- site, C+3.33- is bonded in a trigonal non-coplanar geometry to one Pb2+ and three H1+ atoms. There is one shorter (1.09 Å) and two longer (1.10 Å) C–H bond length. In the third C+3.33- site, C+3.33- is bonded in a trigonal non-coplanar geometry to one Pb2+ and three H1+ atoms. There is two shorter (1.09 Å) and one longer (1.10 Å) C–H bond length. There are eight inequivalent H1+ sites. In the first H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one C+3.33- atom. In themore »
