Materials Data on Tb2SbO2 by Materials Project
Abstract
Tb2SbO2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb3+ is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Sb2- and four equivalent O2- atoms. All Tb–Sb bond lengths are 3.53 Å. All Tb–O bond lengths are 2.24 Å. Sb2- is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Tb3+ atoms. O2- is bonded to four equivalent Tb3+ atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing OTb4 tetrahedra.
