Title: Materials Data on Rb2PrO3 by Materials Project

Abstract

Rb2PrO3 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Rb1+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six O2- atoms. There are a spread of Rb–O bond distances ranging from 2.81–3.31 Å. Pr4+ is bonded to five O2- atoms to form distorted edge-sharing PrO5 trigonal bipyramids. There are a spread of Pr–O bond distances ranging from 2.21–2.37 Å. There are two inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Rb1+ and two equivalent Pr4+ atoms. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Rb1+ and one Pr4+ atom.
