Title: Materials Data on EuZn2 by Materials Project

Abstract

EuZn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Imma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Zn atoms. There are a spread of Eu–Zn bond distances ranging from 3.18–3.43 Å. Zn is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Eu and four equivalent Zn atoms. There are a spread of Zn–Zn bond distances ranging from 2.68–2.83 Å.
