Title: Materials Data on Al2O by Materials Project

Abstract

Al2O is Fluorite structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Al is bonded to four equivalent O atoms to form a mixture of corner and edge-sharing AlO4 tetrahedra. All Al–O bond lengths are 2.46 Å. O is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Al atoms.
