Title: Materials Data on YScO2 by Materials Project

Abstract

YScO2 crystallizes in the trigonal R-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Y is bonded to six equivalent O atoms to form distorted edge-sharing YO6 octahedra. All Y–O bond lengths are 2.32 Å. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent O atoms. Both Sc–O bond lengths are 2.02 Å. O is bonded to three equivalent Y and one Sc atom to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing OY3Sc tetrahedra.
