Title: Materials Data on BaBe2Te by Materials Project

Abstract

BaBe2Te is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional and consists of four tellurium molecules and one BaBe2 framework. In the BaBe2 framework, Ba is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Be atoms. All Ba–Be bond lengths are 3.14 Å. Be is bonded to four equivalent Ba atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge and corner-sharing BeBa4 tetrahedra.
