Title: Materials Data on LaInW by Materials Project

Abstract

LaWIn is half-Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. La is bonded to four equivalent W and six equivalent In atoms to form a mixture of distorted face and corner-sharing LaIn6W4 tetrahedra. All La–W bond lengths are 2.96 Å. All La–In bond lengths are 3.41 Å. W is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent La and four equivalent In atoms. All W–In bond lengths are 2.96 Å. In is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to six equivalent La and four equivalent W atoms.
