Title: Materials Data on NbOsPb by Materials Project

Abstract

NbOsPb is half-Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nb is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Os and four equivalent Pb atoms. All Nb–Os bond lengths are 2.78 Å. All Nb–Pb bond lengths are 2.78 Å. Os is bonded to four equivalent Nb atoms to form distorted OsNb4 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent PbNb4 tetrahedra, corners with twelve equivalent OsNb4 tetrahedra, and edges with six equivalent PbNb4 tetrahedra. Pb is bonded to four equivalent Nb atoms to form distorted PbNb4 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent OsNb4 tetrahedra, corners with twelve equivalent PbNb4 tetrahedra, and edges with six equivalent OsNb4 tetrahedra.
