Materials Data on KNb2Se by Materials Project
Abstract
KNb2Se is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. K is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Nb and six equivalent Se atoms. All K–Nb bond lengths are 2.93 Å. All K–Se bond lengths are 3.38 Å. Nb is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent K and four equivalent Se atoms. All Nb–Se bond lengths are 2.93 Å. Se is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to six equivalent K and eight equivalent Nb atoms.
