Materials Data on NdNO4 by Materials Project
Abstract
NdONO3 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of four nitric acid molecules and two NdO ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. In each NdO ribbon, Nd3+ is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent O2- atoms. There are one shorter (2.13 Å) and one longer (2.16 Å) Nd–O bond lengths. O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to two equivalent Nd3+ atoms.
