Materials Data on Pr(CoAs)2 by Materials Project
Abstract
Pr(CoAs)2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr3+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent As3- atoms. All Pr–As bond lengths are 3.20 Å. Co+1.50+ is bonded to four equivalent As3- atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing CoAs4 tetrahedra. All Co–As bond lengths are 2.35 Å. As3- is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pr3+ and four equivalent Co+1.50+ atoms.
