Title: Materials Data on Ga3Os by Materials Project

Abstract

OsGa3 crystallizes in the tetragonal P4_2/mnm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Os is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight Ga atoms. There are a spread of Os–Ga bond distances ranging from 2.46–2.62 Å. There are two inequivalent Ga sites. In the first Ga site, Ga is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Os atoms. In the second Ga site, Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Os atoms.
