Title: Materials Data on DyGa3 by Materials Project

Abstract

DyGa3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded to twelve equivalent Ga atoms to form DyGa12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent DyGa12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent GaDy4Ga8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent DyGa12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent GaDy4Ga8 cuboctahedra. All Dy–Ga bond lengths are 3.02 Å. Ga is bonded to four equivalent Dy and eight equivalent Ga atoms to form distorted GaDy4Ga8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent GaDy4Ga8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent DyGa12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent GaDy4Ga8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent DyGa12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent GaDy4Ga8 cuboctahedra. All Ga–Ga bond lengths are 3.02 Å.
