Materials Data on NdTe by Materials Project
Abstract
NdTe is Halite, Rock Salt structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nd2+ is bonded to six equivalent Te2- atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing NdTe6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°. All Nd–Te bond lengths are 3.18 Å. Te2- is bonded to six equivalent Nd2+ atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing TeNd6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°.
