Title: Materials Data on CO by Materials Project

Abstract

CO is alpha carbon monoxide-like structured and crystallizes in the trigonal R3c space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of twenty-four formaldehyde molecules. C2+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The C–O bond length is 1.14 Å. O2- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one C2+ atom.
