Title: Materials Data on CeGaNi by Materials Project

Abstract

CeNiGa crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ni and six equivalent Ga atoms. There are a spread of Ce–Ni bond distances ranging from 2.89–3.00 Å. There are a spread of Ce–Ga bond distances ranging from 3.07–3.18 Å. Ni is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ce and four equivalent Ga atoms. There are a spread of Ni–Ga bond distances ranging from 2.45–2.56 Å. Ga is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ce and four equivalent Ni atoms.
