Title: Materials Data on P by Materials Project

Abstract

P is alpha Po structured and crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pmma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. P is bonded to six equivalent P atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing PP6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 0–1°. All P–P bond lengths are 2.45 Å.
